Our little Lachie loves playgrounds. We have visited a few of them so far. Their favourite one was in Melbourne. My kids loved it.
Aughtie Drive adventure playground in Albert Rd is a huge wooden fort style playground. There are many tunnels to hide, lots of swings, slides and bridges. Lily and Lachie has a fantastic time there and for them that was a definite highlight of our trip to Melbourne.
If you are planning to live in Melbourne and looking for a playground check out Melbourne Playgrounds website that give a fantastic overview of the playgrounds in Melbourne. If you are in Sydney you may look into this website.
On our ‘to do’ list there are a couple of playgrounds that our kids really want to visit. These are:
- Pod Playground at National Arboretum Canberra
- Darling Quarter Playground in Sydney
- Wulaba Park Playground in Sydney
All three playgrounds made into the Top Ten Australian Playgrounds list in The Guardian so are definitely worth a visit and my lovely Lily will pass on to you her thought on them once we get there.
